About this site
cyberfraudindia.com is an independent public awareness initiative. We publish explanations of cyber frauds reported across India, in simple Hindi and English, so that people recognise a fraud before they lose money.
We do not investigate cases and we do not accept complaints. Every page on this site points to the official Government of India channels: the helpline 1930, the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal, Sanchar Saathi, and the RBI. Complaints filed anywhere else have no legal standing.
Stories are sent in by readers. A moderation team reads each submission, removes names, numbers and any identifying detail, checks it against known fraud patterns, and only then publishes it. Submitting a story is not a complaint.
cyberfraudindia.com is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government department or agency. We will never ask for your OTP, bank details, or any payment. Official complaints must be filed only at cybercrime.gov.in or by calling 1930.
